Stephen Gordon is the Chief Information Officer at the Office of the Auditor General of British Columbia. He leads the information technology portfolio for our office and is responsible for ensuring our digital services support our day-to-day work and meet the evolving needs of the office.
Prior to joining our office, Stephen led a broad range of enterprise-scale technology initiatives at the federal, provincial and municipal levels. As the cloud strategy lead for the B.C. Government, he established data-sovereign cloud infrastructure services, delivered the enterprise agreement for Salesforce Canadian services and issued the procurement for Customer Relationship Management for Canadian-based public cloud platforms.
Stephen specializes in business transformation, innovation and the strategic adoption of technology platforms for IT and non-IT communities to enable citizen-centric government. Previously, he also co-chaired the national public sector sub-committee for cloud adoption under the Public Sector CIO Council.
Stephen is originally from Northern Ireland and a graduate of the Queen’s University of Belfast Computer Science Honours program. He is proud to call beautiful British Columbia his home.
