Laurie Selwood is a Principal in Financial Audit. She has responsibility for the financial statement audits of a number of government organizations and ministries.
Laurie has been with the Office of the Auditor General for over 20 years. She has been involved with the audits of a number of public sector organizations, including government ministries, educational institutions, Crown corporations and the Province’s Summary Financial Statements. Over this time, she has provided her clients with advice on numerous issues related to financial accounting and reporting, as well as financial management and controls. Laurie has also spent several years working in our Professional Practices group, contributing to the financial statement audit methodology and processes for quality control.
Laurie is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA). She is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of BC. She also has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria.
